EVILE Announce Bassist

Back in October 09, EVILE's bassist Mike Alexander passed away due to a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot on the lungs.

In early December 2009 the remaining members of Evile held two memorial nights for Mike. One was held in Leeds Rios and the other in the Camden Underworld, London.

The night consisted of a covers set of some of Mike's favorite songs and bands, with members of the support bands (Gama Bomb, Mutant and Seregon) on the night stepping in on various instruments. Nick Barker (Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Testament, Exodus) also took to the stage on both nights to play drums for several tracks.

A raffle was organized for Mike's children and family. Evile and Mike's family were overwhelmed to receive support from people/bands such as Ozzy Osbourne & Sharon Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Machine Head, Exodus, Overkill, Trivium, Andy Sneap, Annihilator, Benediction, Hirax and more.

The band announced Joel Graham as their new bassist. Joel previously played in Yorkshire metal band RISE TO ADDICTION.
