Gloominous Doom "Portal Potty" Video Debuts On Metal Injection

Metal Injection premiered the brand-new music video from Reading, PA metal maniacs Gloominous Doom’s upcoming LP, The Feature, today! The gut-busting video for “Portal Potty” is half-concept, half-performance, as the band rock out in their garage and encounter a magical port-a-john that takes them back in time to come face-to-face with such historical luminaries as Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe, Jerry Garcia, Abraham Lincoln, and even Jesus himself! Directed by Dave Causa with special effects by Allen Jackson (6 O’Clock Studios), “Portal Potty” is a hilarious, booze’n’babe-fueled adventure through space and time.

Clocking in at just under an hour, the second LP from Reading, PA’s Gloominous Doom totals fifteen songs, and comes jam-packed with tongue-in-cheek humor, razor-sharp riffs, thrashing mayhem, punk attitude, death metal ferocity, low-slung reggae grooves, and just a dash of drag-racin’ PBR-guzzlin’ backwoods flair. The Feature will be available from DRP Records on May 4, 2010.
Gloominous Doom’s high-energy, genre-bending sonic assault and merciless work ethic have earned them scores of fans along the East Coast. Brooklyn Vegan has lauded their wacky, tongue-in-cheek take on dead-serious metal, applauding their “kitchen sink metal, a bit of death metal, grind, and even ska (!), playing songs with titles like "Urine Trouble". Good times, and by the way, NO ONE rocks a cowbell like Jeff GD (on his prosthetic leg!).” The boys have been hard at work raisin’ hell, keeping that buzz going with never-ending live dates and festival appearances.
