PUNK GOES COVERS
There is a new "Punk Goes" cover compilation album , where some of today's modern punk bands cover songs from a popular genre, the latest being Classic Rock.
Most of the the time these compilations end up sounding far from the original, and sometimes bands lose touch of the original song, as the example below for screamo band A Skylit Drive covering Journey's "Separate Ways."
Although sometimes it works very, very well, like this cover from August Burns Red from "Punk Goes Pop."
