The Absence's Drummer Got Into A Car Accident

Extreme metal enthusiasts The Absence posted a blog on their Myspace page, stating that drummer Justin Reynolds got into a bad car accident recently, sustaining injuries to his neck and back. The full extent of his injuries as well as when he will be able to return to the fold is still unclear.

We wish Justin a speedy recovery. (as well as wish The Absence will release their new album already... damnit Peter! )

In the meantime, the band recruited fellow Tampa, Florida skinsman Matt Solka to fill the void.
