UPINARMS SIGNS WITH STATIC AGE, ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM "REFLECTIONS"

[Press Release]

Static Age Records have announced the signing UPINARMS. The New Jersey based metal outfit have recorded their upcoming full length Reflections with famed NJ based studio The Machine Shop (Lamb of God, Suicide Silence, Every Time I Die, etc.) who was a perfect fit with the band's guitar driven style. "After my first conversation with Shane from Static Age, it was obvious that this was exactly what we have been waiting for, an artist friendly label who truly believes in our music." UPINARMS' singer Bob explained. "We have worked hard to combine all of our influences into one fresh sound with lyrics which we can all relate to in some way and now it's time to really get our music out there."

Below is a statement from the band's manager Paul Towers on their signing:
"Since the moment I was introduced to UPINARMS, my whole perspective of modern metal has changed. Its been so long since I've discovered a fresh sound in a genre that's seen so many bands just reproducing what's been done before. From start to finish Reflections had me hooked and with the talent and songwriting ability these guys have I can see them going far. I've spent a long time talking with Shane and Jonathan at Static Age and I'm happy that we could agree terms for the band's first release and I'm excited to be working with them on helping the band achieve the success that they deserve."

Their album is scheduled for a Q4 release in 2010 as the band should be wrapping up production on in the upcoming weeks. To find out more about UPINARMS, please visit their Myspace at Myspace.com/Upinarmsnj
