Dani Filth Loves Dracula And Snow White

Cradle of Filth front man, and all around freak, Dani Filth. Recently told Noisecreep about his all time favorite horror related stories, stating:

"Well, 'Dracula' I love," Dani told Noisecreep. "I am also a big fan of the Snow White story. I just saw 'The Human Centipede' and it was brilliant. My all time favorites are lavish gothic horror with nastiness.

"Underneath, they are all fairy tales and they are all metaphors for sex and death. Look at the story of Hansel and Gretel. The witch forces the little boy naked into a fire to roast him alive? It's sick, really. These are not children-friendly stories. They are sanitized and passed down orally. They are fables with warnings of sorts. Like 'don't go off with strangers or go walking in the woods.' I quite like the origins of these fairy tales -- like religion, which are all fairy tales."

Apparently the band is already working on a instrumental album to be released following the band's upcoming studio effort "Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa" out November 9th via Peaceville Records.
