STEREOGUM Premieres New Song From AGALLOCH!
American progressive metal band AGALLOCH, released a new song titled "The Watcher's Monolith." Taken from the band's upcoming album "Marrow of the Spirit," out November 23rd via Profound Lore Records.The song is very memorable, and holds on to great melodies. My only issue is the vocals, the black metal shrieks are over used. I don't mind black metal vocals when they're thrown in at proper timings; like, when a blackened death metal band executes it. But when the entire song relies on it, it gets a little stale. But AGALLOCH manage to cover that up, with solid and focused song structures.
