This past summer, while covering the world of rock, metal and punk at the various major festivals of 2010, the crew at Bare Bones asked bands and musicians to autograph a guitar which will be auctioned off on eBay with 100% of the net proceeds going to The National Foundation for Cancer Research. The winning bidder will own a brand new black Schecter Damien 6 guitar featuring EMG-H4A pickups, rosewood fingerboard, black pearl bat inlays and black hardware. The auction will begin on Dec. 10, 2010. What's even better is the guitar is signed by a bevy of brutal bands! Also included in the auction is a printed collection of photos of all the artists while they signed the guitar. The list of artists who graciously took their time to help contribute to this very worthy cause are members of; Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, KoRn, As I Lay Dying, Sum 41, Chimaira, Murderdolls, Atreyu, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, In This Moment, Suicide Silence, Underoath, Norma Jean, Between The Buried and Me, Eyes Set To Kill, Blessthefall, Four Year Strong, Architects, Cancer Bats, Pierce The Veil, Reel Big Fish, Confide, Mayday Parade, Winds of Plague, 3 Inches of Blood, War of Ages, Flatfoot 56, We The Kings, AM Taxi, and Ice Nine Kills. We'll even string it up with a new set of strings and include a black padded gig bag. It goes without saying that this guitar is a one of a kind collectable! We will provide a direct link to the eBay page here as soon as it is listed. Remember auction starts on Dec. 10, 2010.
