Monster Magnet Are Jetfighters With Hearts of Gold!

I've always had a spot for Monster Magnet. I wouldn't even say they're a guilty pleasure or anything like that. But when the mood is right and Monster Magnet blares out of my speakers with their chunky riffs, and Blues inspired Psychedelic Rock goodness, I'd be hooked on for the entire stoned ride.

And the band's new video for Gods and Punks is a great example of their extremely fun songs. Uplifting in a very honest and realistic way. It somehow reminds me of that line in Iron Maiden's Holy Smoke: "I've lived in filth, I've lived in sin, And I still smell cleaner than the shit you're in."
