Continuing the celebration that is their 25th or 26th anniversary (depending on who you ask) GWAR's front man, the ever affable Oderus Urungus has been given the honor of gracing the cover of the latest issue of Decibel Magazine. Santa Oderus and the rest of your lords and masters in GWAR gave Decibel an all access behind the scenes look at the Slave Pit in Richmond...err... Antarctica. Make sure to pick up a copy of the magazine not only to worship the overlord that is Oderus but also to check out an exclusive behind the scenes look from GWAR's Anatarctic stronghold. You can pick up a copy at a local newsstand or bookstore or purchase your copy online at http://store.decibelmagazine.com/collections/back-issues/products/january-2011-075

In addition to being on the cover of the magazine, Oderus will be taking over Decibel's twitter account this Friday December 3rd from 3-4 PM EST. Make sure to follow @dbmagazine on Twitter and see what kind of Christmas Cheer Oderus has in store. He will be giving away prizes and will be answering questions from you, the lowly human scum. This could be your one chance to interact with biggest dicked alien front man in the music business, unless you bring crack to an upcoming show...then Oderus will hang with you all night.

Reached in the middle of a vomit-flecked pre-show orgy, GWAR lead singer Oderus Urungus had this to say about this latest indication of GWAR's enduring awesomeness (and his rugged good looks) --
"Finally a major magazine has the balls to put the sexiest lead singer in rock and roll history on its cover, with my cock hanging out. My cock, lubed with yak-lard and reeking of penguin-puke. What's that? Its not hanging out? You can't see my it at all? And in fact I don't even have one, I have a cuttlefish, with three sets of balls? Is that what you are telling me? Because if it is, then...I am most certainly listening to it, I think, and drinking until I can't hear you anymore. What was the question?"

Recently GWAR took to the stage on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on NBC. The band performed their new single "Zombies, March". The performance will be airing again this Friday night December 3rd at 12:35 AM EST on NBC, so if you missed it the first time or if you saw it the first time, watch it again this Friday night.

GWAR's latest masterpiece "Bloody Pit of Horror" is in stores now and you can also purchase it on the official GWAR page on the Metal Blade Records website. The landing page includes all current tour dates, GWAR footage from BOTH GWAR.tv and MetalBlade.tv, and pre-orders for "Bloody Pit of Horror" on CD, a GWAR t-shirt, or the ultimate "Bloody Pit" package that includes the CD, the GWAR t-shirt, and a 12x12 autographed cover print! (While supplies last or until GWAR decides to start using the prints as rolling papers...whichever comes first)
