Last weekend, Cairo was the host of a 3 day metal festival hosted by one of the city's most reputable venues, El Sawy Culture Wheel.

On April 20th El Sawy Culture Wheel (and in partnership with Metal Blast) was the host to it's first "METAL MUSIC FESTIVAL" which spanned over 3 days of highly energetic, face pummeling, metal acts from around Egypt.

Organized by Metal Blast. The event featured 11 bands that took over the stage to rock the city's foundation with a wide variety of sub-genres. From progressive metal to oriental metal. The show was jam packed with all sorts of heavy.
