Jon Howard (THREAT SIGNAL) Recommends His "Top 5 Metal Songs Everyone Should Listen To"
Being one of Canada's most popular modern metal outfits. Threat Signal has come a long way since their formation back in 2004.After the release of 2006's "Under Reprisal" (produced by former Fear Factory guitarist/bassist Christian Olde Wolbers) the band formed a solid fan base; while extensively touring in-support of the release.
In October of last year the band released their latest self titled studio effort, which saw the band blend their dynamic thrash metal influences with a more melodic approach, reminiscent of their 2009 release "Vigilance;" creating a sonic wave of intensity.
A while back I got in contact with the band's front man Jon Howard to find out what are some songs he would recommend to fellow metal heads, and he was more than nice to hit me back shortly with his top 5. Noting that it was hard to only pick 5, stating:
"Right on! Here are some metal songs that I think everyone should hear. Hard to pick only 5..."
