ALICE IN CHAINS Finish Recording New Album, Set For Release In 2013

ALICE IN CHAINS have recently finished recording their latest album (and the second to feature new vocalist William DuVall).

In a new interview in the latest issue of Guitar World, guitarist Jerry Cantrell confirms a new album and talks about the band's most recent release "Black Gives Way To Blue" and how both releases live up to their previous studio albums.

"In my opinion, that record stood up to anything else we’ve put out in our career," Cantrell says. "And this new one is right up there as well."

ALICE IN CHAINS' upcoming as-yet untitled fifth studio effort was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones) and engineered Paul Figueroa.
