COVAN WAKE THE F*CK UP! Makes It's Way To Dubai, Local Musicians Put Together Gig To Show Support

Covan Wake the Fuck Up! will be making it's way to Dubai, UAE on January 4th at Ratsky Club, hosted by the local scene to help support Decapitated frontman, Adrian Kowanek.

Back in 2007, while Decapitated were on tour, their bus was involved in a major accident with a loading truck. Adrian and drummer Witold Kieltyka (A.K.A. Vitek) were seriously injured and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital in Novozybkov, Russia. Later on Vitek passed away. Adrian remained in a coma for 2 years due to Cerebral Hypoxia (a result of medical negligence after the surgical operation).

Adrian has since been slowly recovering but had to leave Decapitated to be properly treated. All expenses are provided by his family, and you can imagine how costly that is; that's why his family started the Covan Wake The Fuck Up! charity to seek fans support for Adrian's medical treatment.

This is an absolutely great cause! We highly commend the local UAE scene for putting together a show in-support of the charity. All profit from the event will be sent to Covan on-behalf of the middle eastern metal scene; so you all better be there to show your support straight from the pit!

Confirmed acts for the event, includes: VOICE OF THE SOUL, BILLY BOB'S BLOOD DRENCHED BREW, and SOULFUEL (with more acts to be announced!).

*UPDATE [12/16/12]: Groove metallers, ALPHA.KENNY.BUDDY, are now officially added to the event's line-up.
