Introducing PYRITHION: Featuring Members of AS I LAY DYING, ALLEGAEON AND EMBODYMENT

Tim Lambesis is a busy man. A buffed-up busy man ready to powerslam Mark Henry. But aside from Mr. Lambesis' hulked-up physique. The man is busy with a number of projects, apart from recently releasing a new album with his main band, AS I LAY DYING (one of their best records to date if I might add) Tim is busy with two other projects. His popular Arnold Schwarzenegger-gimmick act, AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE, who currently are recording in the studio their 3rd album sensibly titled "Triple Brutal"  and newly formed, PYRITHION, which recently announced their signing to Metal Blade Records.

PYRITHION also features among its ranks ALLEGAEON guitarist Ryan Gilsan and Andy Gowin (THE FAMINE, EMBODYMENT) which are set to release their debut EP 'The Burden of Sorrow' on April 16th, and made the song "The Invention of Hatred" available for streaming using the lyric video below:


The band plays death metal with strong thrash influences. Judging by Invention of Hatred, the EP won't fall short of brutal hooks to keep things interesting.
