Violent Redemption by CHAOS, Official Album Launch March 29


Chaos, stalwarts of thrash metal based out of Kerala, India is all set to release their debut album ‘Violent Redemption’ on March 29, 2013 after 8 years of being in existence as one of the genuinely heavy thrash metal bands in the country. The album which is incidentally the first thrash metal album to come out of Kerala comprises 11 tracks and they are guaranteed to get your blood pumping.

Chaos is known for a sound that stays true to the old school thrash which originated in the US inspired by the new wave of British Heavy Metal Bands like Iron Maiden, Motorhead etc and culminated in acts like Metallica, Slayer etc. The frenetic riffing, the hi tempo drumming and the in your face vocals have made them a crowd favorite, due to the sheer energy and power on display when they play live not to mention the quality of musicianship.

The album features hit single Game which was released online on video and is already a favorite among metal fans and it has a chorus that will surely get your heart pumping.

Chaos has been featured in the international metal compilation album ‘Global Waves of Destruction’ released by ‘Metallity’, a metal magazine that is one of the most recognized among fans of the genre. The song ‘Merchant of Death’ was featured in the ‘Metaller’s Mayhem’ compilation album featuring 25 top bands from India. The band has also been featured on popular online radio stations, the latest being the Swedish radio station ‘Metal Mix’.

The band comprises of JK (vocals), Nikhil (guitars), Vishnu (Bass) and Rohit (drums).The album has been produced by Keshav Dhar (Skyharbor).

The album will be released online at 8 p.m. on March 29. It will be available for download from iTunes,, and various other online platforms. The band is also all set for a four city tour to promote the album.
