CHALICE OF DOOM Release New Single

Jordanian doom metallers, CHALICE OF DOOM, released a new lyric video for the song "Shaheed" (شهيد) which translates to "Martyr" in English.

The song comes off the band's upcoming studio album "Into Hypnagogia" which will be released in June via Memento Mori.

The band posted the following statement along with the single:

"Three years have passed since the first day Chalice of Doom was formed and began the music journey in this gloomy Universe , sharing this great moment with our brothers and sisters who supported us step by step and for that we would like to show our appreciation and present to you first single from our upcoming album "Into Hypnagogia" that will be released in June by the Spanish label "Memento Mori"...

this track (musically and lyrically) is dedicated for all whom lost their spirits searching for freedom and peace in the Middle East

IN DOOM!"

"Shaheed" is a vintage doom headbanger; the intro featured on the track was originally a chant used across the Middle East during the Arab Spring, and really gives a powerful vibe for the entire track. We're really looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.
