THE ABSENCE will be releasing a new single featuring new axeman, Per Nilsson, on June 4th titled "Oceans" (which you can pre-order right now via Bandcamp).

May 13, 2013: Today we are very excited to announce...
Tuesday, June 4 as the official release date of our new single, Oceans. Pre-orders of the single are now available via our Bandcamp page and bundles of the single with new merchandise are still available via The AbsenceMerch BigCartel store.

While the scream for new music from The Absence has been loud enough over the last year, the anticipation level has quickly grown to a boiling point amongst our fans with the recent addition of Scar Symmetry’s Per Nilsson as a permanent member of The Absence camp. Make sure you make your order now and get it first!

Back in January, The Absence announced the departure of guitarist Peter Joseph; it was later announced that Swedish guitarist and Scar Symmetry co-founder, Per Nilsson, would join the fold permanently.
