Happy Birthday, Nergal!

Today marks the 36th birthday of Polish metal legend, Adam Darski, better known as Nergal.  He and his band, Behemoth, have made such a huge impact on the metal scene since the release of their first album in 1995. Since then, Nergal and Behemoth have inspired a unique amalgamation of death metal and black metal.

Nergal also fought (and won) a long battle with leukemia, which he was diagnosed with in August 2010.

Behemoth have also recently announced the title of their highly-anticipated album, "The Satanist", scheduled for release in the fall of 2013.
