CARCASS Release Surgical Steel Video Teaser

Nuclear Blast Europe have finally released the official teaser for Carcass's new album, "Surgical Steel", on Youtube.  It sounds so good. I think it was a good move after a new track was leaked on Youtube for a day or two before being taken down. It sounds like Carcass are mixing things up with this album; the melodies from Heartwork and Swansong are present, but you can also feel the sheer rawness from their previous albums.

While guitarist Bill Steer and bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker are still in the lineup, Dan Wilding (Trigger the Bloodshed) joins on drums, as well as Ben Ash (Pig Iron, Desolation, Liquefied Skeleton) on guitar.  Michael Amott (Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars) left Carcass earlier this year.

Oh, and hear this; former drummer, Ken Owen, will be featuring on Surgical Steel with some vocals.

Surgical Steel will be released through Nuclear Blast Records in late 2013, and Carcass will be joining Amon Amarth on their next European tour!
