OSTURA TO PLAY FIRST SHOW IN LEBANON: OSTURA THE LIVE OPERA

Lebanese symphonic metal band OSTURA are poised to be making their live debut on December 7th. They will be performing at Metro Al Madina in Beirut with an updated lineup. Alain Ibrahim and Alex Abi Chaker have joined on guitar and drums respectively, as well as Marcelino Said on bass.

Ostura released an impressive debut full-length called Ashes of the Reborn back in 2012 and received extremely positive feedback from regional and international critiques. One of the album's tracks, Infernal Hymn, is available on Waves of Destruction, Metality's third free online compilation album.

The band's sound is quite interesting, combining European folk and operatic music with some of the more extreme metal genres. Ostura also announced that they will include a few cover songs in their setlist by some of their favorite bands.
