"A Word" with Jim from Samadhi !

Had a word with Jim about the new album, whats next for Samadhi and more

Heres how it went:

AB: Can you tell us about the sound your going for on your new album "Incandescence" ?

Jim: Well, we all love the European style of metal, and we went after Peter Wichers of Soilwork to produce the album, so I guess that we wanted to have an album that was in that style.


AB: You going to release a video anytime soon ?

Jim: We are working on getting a concept for a video, have not found an idea that we like yet.


AB: Now that your album is out, what do you plan to do next ?

Jim: We are currently shopping labels and managers. We would love to get some great representation and get on the road!


AB: What's your favorite track from the album so far ?

Jim: Well, I dig Field Of Stone and Forever Never Lasts, can't pick a favorite of either. Incandescence is growing on me more and more each day, so that may take the lead soon!


AB: Any bands in particular that you would like to tour with ?

Jim: How much time and space would I need to answer this question fully? To list a few: Soilwork, Mors Prinicpium Est, Opeth, Sybreed, Scar Symmetry, Mnemic, Diecast, Into Eternity, Gojira, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, Slayer, All That Remains, Disarmonia Mundi, God Forbid, Meshuggah, Necrophagist and a million others.


AB: Would you like to add anything ?

Jim: There are some amazing bands that are out there that are looking for, and deserve,
recognition and representation. Do all you can to help promote your favorite locals whenever you can!
