NERVECELL Announce Tracklisting - Legendary Death Metal Icon KARL SANDERS To Guest On New Song "شنق – Shunq"

Dubai based death metal beasts NERVECELL have announced that legendary guitar icon KARL SANDERS (NILE) will be featured on their upcoming, highly anticipated album "PSYCHOGENICIDE" out March 31st via Spellbind Records (Middle East), and April 31st via Lifeforce Records (Europe) on the song "شنق – Shunq (To The Despaired…King Of Darkness)."

The band released the following press release:

We are extremely proud to announce that Karl Sanders will be a part of our new album "PSYCHOGENOCIDE" as guest vocals on the song entitled "Shunq (To The Despaired…King Of Darkness)".

This particular song is special to the band as it will mark the first extreme metal track ever to include both Arabic lyrics mixed in with English lyrics, and who better else to have come on board and collaborate on this theme with us than the legendary Karl Sanders!

The word "Shunq" in Arabic has two meanings: to choke or to be hung by the neck. The song consists mainly of ideas and knowledge gathered from sources that speak about Lucifer and the demons that serve him. The song "Shunq (To The Despaired…King Of Darkness)" speaks about the battle of us humans and these demons in reality, in the end Satan himself brought forth to justice.

"PSYCHOGENOCIDE" will feature a total of 10 new songs and can be viewed below:

1. Anemic Assurgency
2. Upon An Epidemic Scheme
3. All Eyes On Them
4. Amok Doctrine
5. Psychogenocide
6. Imprint
7. شنق – Shunq (To The Despaired…King Of Darkness)
8. The Taste Of Betrayal
9. Driven By Nescience
10. Nation's Plague

"PSYCHOGENOCIDE" is scheduled for release on Spellbind Records on March 31st 2011 in the Middle East and Lifeforce Records on April 29th 2011 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and on May 2nd 2011 in the rest of Europe & the UK. The CD cover artwork was designed by Björn Goosses of Killustrations (ABORTED, SEVERE TORTURE, ZYKLON) and is a concept, which NERVECELL has been working on for quite a while. The band is said to be "extremely proud of how it has turned out" as it "perfectly matches the aggression and musical direction of the new album."

The follow-up to 2008's "Preaching Venom", "Psychogenocide" is scheduled to be mixed and mastered at Hertz Studios (BEHEMOTH, DECAPITATED, VADER) in Bialystok, Poland by the Wieslawscy Bros.
